Store Manager – Wheat Children’s Clothing

Wheat is coming to Victoria! We are excited to open a new retail location and are looking for an experienced, passionate Store Manager to lead our first store in the area.Wheat is a Scandinavian children’s clothing brand known for timeless design, high-quality materials, and a deep commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship. As Store Manager, you will play a key role in bringing the Wheat brand experience to life for families in our community.
About the Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the store—from creating an exceptional customer experience to leading and inspiring a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships with customers
- Oversee daily store operations, including scheduling, inventory management, visual merchandising, and cash handling
- Meet and exceed sales goals while maintaining Wheat’s brand standards
- Ensure the store reflects Wheat’s values of quality, care, and attention to detail
- Train staff on product knowledge and brand storytelling
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organized store environment
Qualifications
- Previous retail management experience (fashion or children’s retail is an asset)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for customer service and creating meaningful shopping experiences
- Organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in children’s clothing, design, and sustainable products
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
