Social Media + Content Coordinator (Part-Time)

Location: Hybrid (Salt Spring Island / Victoria, BC)
Hours: ~20 hours/week, with potential to grow into a full-time role

WHEAT is a Danish brand of children's clothing and footwear rooted in Scandinavian traditions. Inspired by nature and the magic of changing seasons, we design stylish, high-quality essentials that let kids be kids — through all their adventures, in all kinds of weather.

In Canada, our small and passionate team is based on beautiful Salt Spring Island, BC. We’re looking for someone creative, organized, and enthusiastic about children's fashion, content creation, and community building.

What You’ll Do

As our Social Media + Content Coordinator, you'll play a key role in shaping our digital presence and connecting with our audience. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and scheduling weekly newsletters and social media content
  • Coordinating seasonal campaigns with influencers and collaborators
  • Supporting customer service via email and social channels
  • Assisting with seasonal campaign planning and promotional strategies
  • Helping update website content and product features (Shopify)
  • Collaborating on promotional planning and brand messaging

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a similar social media or content coordination role
  • Strong working knowledge of Canva, Klaviyo, and Shopify
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, creative thinker with an eye for design
  • Ability to attend monthly in-person meetings on Salt Spring Island
  • Based in or near Salt Spring Island or Victoria, BC (required)

Bonus Points If You...

  • Have an interest in kids' fashion or lifestyle branding
  • Have experience working with influencer campaigns
  • Love storytelling, photography, or community engagement
