March Break Family Fun
Posted on March 11, 2014
It’s that time of year again. If the kids in your household are school-aged children, they will soon be home for the week and you’ll be looking for some entertaining ideas. Not to worry – you’re not alone. We’ve done a little bit of research on fun things to do in the WHEAT Family household this week.
Here are some of the things we came across that we wanted to share with you…
Why not look up local rec centers or yoga studios in a town or city near you that offers toddler or kids’ classes? We can all use a solid stretch now and again.

Build a Magic Fort
Have some quiet reading time in a fun ‘fort’ made with pillows and blankets. This is an all-time favourite in our home.

High Tea Party
Get dressed up in a tulle skirt and host a tea party with the most pleasant of stuffed animals guests. Who doesn’t love a good spot of tea?
“Another scone, Miss?”
Have a Puppet Show
Get creative with the toys you already have, or get extra crafty and make hand puppets. Put on a show that is sure to demand an encore.

Bring Out The Artist
Don’t be afraid to your hands a little messy and break out the paints. Their creativity may surprise you. You may learn you have a little Picasso in the house.
“DIY at it’s finest.”
